These large growing Barbs are quickly becoming one of the most popular Barbs available in the hobby. Growing up to 15 CM’s these active shoaling fish are best kept as pairs or groups of 6 or more in large aquariums.
They require a faster water flow and cooler water temperatures than standard barbs alongside a high oxygen flow so use of air diffuses and air pumps are required.
