Odessa Barb
The Odessa Barb is a barb originating from Myanmar, it reaches a maximum size of 7CM’s and is notorious for being active, they are best kept in larger groups to reduce aggression. They should not be kept with any slow moving or long-finned fish like Gourami’s.
Their colouration improves with both age and the presence of both sexes, when purchased from stock tanks or first delivered, they appear washed out however, given some time to settle into a suitable aquarium, they will develop a dark black body and neon red stripe from head to tail.
