Shipping policy:
All of our livestock are shipped on a next day policy, they are double bagged and sealed with oxygen before placing in to appropriately sized boxes.
Royal Mail Tracked 24 has a delivery aim of next working day, there is an option for Royal Mail Guaranteed by 1PM for an additional rate.
We will process and package any orders received before 12:00hrs the same day and aim to dispatch them the same day. If there is any delay, we will contact you and explain the reasoning why and any suitable options to rectify this.
Orders will be posted out Monday to Thursday only, we cannot guarantee deliveries will be made on a Saturday due to RM shortages.
Tracking:
All orders are dispatched via a trackable service, we will send you an automatic email which will have a Royal Mail tracking number to follow and view options for your delivery. We cannot change delivery times / addresses / names after an order has been placed so please ensure all details are correct, we will not be liable for missed deliveries.
Quality Guarantee:
At somethings-fishy we take great care and pride in our products ensuring they are packaged safely and arrive to you in the best possible condition, unfortunately mistakes and delays can happen.
When a product arrives, please ensure you open the box and inspect the goods immediately, we offer a 12 hour window from the time of delivery to notify us of any problems. If there is any damage to the packaging box, bags or physical products, please ensure these are photographed - DO NOT REFUSE DELIVERY. If a product is damaged during transit, we will post a replacement free of charge if available or issue a full refund if not. Depending on the item we may request a return using a pre-paid return label.
If any livestock has arrived injured, deceased or dies within 24 hours, please contact us as soon as possible. We may ask for photographic proof of the animal and the tank / tank water to ensure suitability in this event, we can test your water quality FOC if a sample is posted to us. We will offer a replacement or refund if the animal dies during transport or within 24 hours of arrival providing water conditions etc are correct for the species.
Stock availability:
Whilst we will make every effort to ensure the availability of stock online matches what we have in store, this may at times be inaccurate. Orders recieved before the store opens will be processed and stock reserved. We will try and update stock availability throughout the day however, during our busiest times this will not always be possible meaning online shoppers may be purchasing stock we have recently sold. If this is the case, when the order is processed we will contact you and advise the possible options which will be:
An upgrade to a like for like product/s, i.e, customer orders a 25g pot of Shrimp Cuisine but can choose to purchase the 50g pot instead
Refund the unavailable product/s and process the remainder of the order
Wait for the replacement stock to arrive, this can be next day or up to 1 week dependant on the product - if you are happy to wait for the out of stock item/s, we will process the remaining item/s as selected and send the out of stock item/s to you free of charge once received
