The Glowlight Blood Red Rosy Barb is a is a striking variation of the more common Rosy barb, known for their deep red colouration and metallic sheen, they can reache a maximum size of 8 CM’s and is notorious for being active, they are best kept in larger groups to reduce aggression. They should not be kept with any slow moving or long-finned fish like Gourami’s.
Their colouration improves with both age and the presence of both sexes, when purchased from stock tanks or first delivered, they appear washed out however, given some time to settle into a suitable aquarium, they will develop the iconic deep red colouration.
