Peppered Cory, also can be known by Peppered Catfish, originate from the Amazon Basin. Due to this, they enjoy eating, worms, crustaceans, insects, and plant matter. They will also eat flake, catfish pellets, live and frozen food.

They must have soft substrate like sand, to protect their stomach and will keep up with foraging nature to look for food.

They enjoy being in well planted tanks with lots of swimming area on the bottom as they can grow to be 5-7 cm when mature.

They are peaceful and a good community fish and can be housed with most tropical fish big or small.

  • Hardness: 2 - 10 GDH

  • PH: 6.5 - 8.0
