Bronze Cory can be found in rivers in Trinidad, South America. They can grow up to 7cm when fully mature with females being larger and more plump than the male equivalents.

They are a peaceful fish ideal for community tanks that are well planted. They must have soft substrate to protect their stomachs and so they can forage for their food. They enjoy eating live food, flakes and pellets as well as small insects.

They must be kept in groups of 5 or more as they are shoaling fish with no denotation to male and female ratios.

Water parameters:

  • Temperature: 22-27 Celsius

  • Hardness: 2 - 10 GDH

  • PH: 6.5 - 8.0

  • KH: 3 - 10 DKH
