Ludwigia palustris 'Super Red' - Bunched

Sale Price:£2.49 Original Price:£2.99
Sold Out

This cosmopolitan stem plant turns red easier and is smaller than the well-known Ludwigia repens ’Rubin’.
Each stalk becomes 2-4 cm wide and 10-30 cm high. The plant willingly creates side shoots, but cutting increases the amount and the plant becomes even denser. The cut-off shoots quickly generate new roots when planted.
The plant becomes intensely red and grows better, when placed in light and with added CO2.

This is a bunched plant - we will send you 3 stems bunched with aquarium weight, we advise you to split the stems and plant them individually a few CM’s away from each other, leaving them bunched may encourage stem rot, root entanglement and nutrient starvation. During transport it is normal for some leaves to fall from the plant, after adjusting to its new home these leaves should regrow quickly and colour up, any immediate concerns please take a photograph upon arrival and use the ‘Contact us’ page to email us. We always provide updated images of current stock in each listing so please ensure you view these before purchase. We advise with all live plants to use a next day delivery option to ensure they are not out of water and in heat/cold for an extended period.
