This is a pack of 10 plant, decoration and food weights made of Lead. Lead is an inert metal meaning it will not react or leach anything harmful into your aquarium. They are completely reusable multiple times and can be cut into the required size. Each strip is 7CM’s long, we advise washing the strips in tank water before first use.
Used to weigh down live plants, simply wrap the stem with a soft material like filter floss or cotton wool and bend the weight around the stem, ensure the weight is situated near the bottom, buried in the substrate and is not wrapped too tightly.
Weigh down food items with ease: Plecostomus lover vegetables such as Cucumber and Aubergine, unfortunately these often float which is not ideal for bottom dwellers, simply insert the strip through the middle of the food item and lower it gently into the tank.
