Panda Barbs, also sometimes known as striped barbs, grow to roughly 5 cm’s in length. They are a good schooling fish and have a strong contrasting colour.

They enjoy being in a community and are normally peaceful fish. It is recommended to keep out of tanks that do have long tail fin fish, to avoid fin nipping.

They enjoy a varied diet of: live food, flake and vegetables.

They enjoy a well planted tanks with lots of swimming area and places they can shade from light.

Water parameters:

  • Temperature: 22-26 Celsius

  • Hardness: 2 - 10 GDH

  • PH: 6.0 - 7.5

  • KH: 3 - 15 DKH
