Renowned for their striking black and white spotted pattern, the dwarf synodontis catfish is an omnivorous scavenger most active at night and low light levels suitable for community tanks with other similar sized fish. They stay relatively small reaching around 10CM’s with an 8-10 year life expectancy given the proper care and diet they require. They require soft sandy substrates to forage in with plenty of hiding areas for daytime hours. Best kept in groups of 3 or more.

Tank requirements: Heavily planted, lots of hiding spaces, soft substrate, high water flow and oxygenation.
