Shrimp, Pleco, Fry Breeding cave - coconut with live Java Moss
This coconut cave with moss is an ideal breeding, grazing and hiding place for a variety of animals, including Shrimp, Fry, Pleco’s and other herbivorous creatures.
Each cave is made by our team in house using Java Moss we grow, unlike other options the moss is bonded and growing onto the coconut as opposed to being banded or sheeted in place, this provides a much stronger bond allowing the moss to thrive in all conditions as well as looking more natural.
The moss will grow up to 4CM’s in length, it will be easy for you to trim and cultivate to produce your own Java Moss. We advise against cutting the moss within the first 4 weeks, this ensures the plant has sufficient time to adapt and settle into its new home. Avoid repeated long spells out of water as this will shorten the lifespan of the moss.
Approximate size is 10CM’s x 5CM’s.
