Cobalt Dwarf Gourami Female
Gourami’s are excellent fish that can make a lovely addition to any community tank or housed in species only tanks if preferred.
They are a peaceful and graceful fish, often found at the top of the water column eating detritus floating in the tank.
For best colouration and behaviour small groups are ideal in heavily planted tanks, they are rarely aggressive unless they are breeding, in which case it may be necessary to separate the breeding pair.
Due to their natural environment they require soft water and gentle filtration so we recommend sponge filters over internal or external filters.
Water Parameters:
Temperature: 24 - 28 Celsius
PH: 6.5 - 8.0 PH
Carbonate Hardness: 3 - 15 DKH
General Hardness: 4 - 14 GDH
