Asian Rummynose Tetra

£4.50

A good community fish if you are in hard water area, the Asian Rummynose is a very attractive and peaceful species. What makes these fish standout is their distinctive silvery-blue scaleless bodies with the males having bright red noses. Growing up to 4cm, these need to be kept in an aquarium at least 50cm long with a dark substrate (brings out the colours), lots of plants and some open swimming area. A good alternative to the more well-known Rummynose Tetra, they require plenty of oxygen rich, gently moving water and they will tolerate a pH level of anywhere between 7.0 and 8.0. Keep with other peaceful fish and feed a mix of flakes, granules, and frozen tropical foods.
