Not much is known about these Killifish due to their rarity in the wild and the trade, they originate from the Congo River drainage channels, often grouped in small tributaries with high oxygenated water flow.

They are a peaceful nano fish growing to a maximum of 3.5 CM’s however, the males can be quarrelsome with each other so it is best to provide a larger tank with plenty of hiding places for each to claim.

Breeding in the aquarium is highly unlikely and due to the difficulty of locating, we can almost guarantee you will struggle to ever find these fish again.

They are omnivorous fish that will readily accept small frozen and live foods such as Baby brine shrimp, mini bloodworms but will also consume algae and bio-film.
